LauraI wored with artist Kamel Saeed on his first podcast series. What Happened in Baghdad explores three stories of antiquity and was co-commissioned by Liverpool Arab Arts Festival.
The podcast series was commissioned in 2020 and was an opportunity for the artist, Kamel Saeed, to explore stories of his Iraqi heritage. As Audio Producer I worked with Kamel to plan each episode, as this was his first podcast series. We developed a production schedule, identifying what each episode would sound like. He managed the interviews and the briefed me, as producer, which clips he wanted for each section. I mixed each episode and published.
