I spent over five years working for the BBC and various commercial outlets specialising in radio but also writing and blogging. I’m a copywriter as well as a journalist so I produce a wide range of written content and can be hired for anything relating to the written word.
I have written for titles such as Artist & Illustrator, The Anfield Wrap, Bitten, The Guardian, Move Commercial, The Jewish Chronicle, BBC Online, Liverpool Confidential, Earth Times, Arts Professional, Music Rooms as well as various corporate clients looking for some great content on their sites.
As a freelance writer I write about what I’m interested, very often. Fortunately enough this content is fairly broad. I write about art, contemporary art and behaviour including interviews, features and opinion pieces. As a lover of film I write features about filmmakers and made a BBC documentary about Terence Davies.
My recent features include;
The Problem with Scouse Exceptionalism, Liverpool Long Reads
