Claremont Farm brought me in to work on Farm Feast, a two day music and food festival on the farm needing publicity and digital marketing.
Weirdly, I grew up by Claremont Farm. It’s where we’d get our fruit and veg as children and each summer we’d go to the pick your own fields to gather strawberries.
The Farm approached me about working on their music and food festival, Farm Feast. I introduced them to an events manager I work with extensively. I managed the Publicity strategy, incorporating PR, media relations, media sales, digital marketing and traditional marketing to help promote the festival. I managed their social media feeds, writing content for the website and pitching stories and releases to the media. It was covered extensively in Liverpool, Wirral and featured in The Times and the Guardian as a family friendly event.
I worked closely with the festival’s web developers to manage the wordpress based website. This required a quite extensive management of the festival’s events and stall holders, managing partners to ensure all the information needed for visitors was present. This translated to offline as well as online in managing and working with designers on print and handheld material.
During the event I managed press and publicity along with social media. Post event I managed press quotes and images helping to ensure the festival continued to have a presence and profile.
