For seven years I worked with Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, as Marketing Coordinator, then Creative Producer
Liverpool’s Arab Arts Festival is held annually and works to showcase the work of international artists of Arab heritage, while also connecting with an Arab audience closer to home.
As Marketing Coordinator I implemented the marketing strategy, working with external agencies, artists and suppliers. This meant being responsible for the marketing collateral, online and offline, connecting with audiences and working with all partners and stakeholders. I worked from strategy to delivery, managing designers and working with the team to develop a new visual identity and brand.
I managed all social media content, upload, editing and delivery. During festival time, I worked with volunteers to gather content for editing and promotion, as well as capturing moments.
In 2020 I was Digital Producer as the festival switched to a digital format, due to coronavirus. This included managing all aspects of branding online, exploring the best digital platform to suit events, creating digital assets for promotion and marketing and supporting artists and the festival team on every aspect of technically managed the festival online.
Working on an annual festival involves detailed project management and understanding audiences, to ensure everything is ready on time.
Post Covid I worked as Creative Producer, this involved managing marketing timescales, brand and identity while also looking after all digital content, digital storytelling and music.
